Four girls playing with a camera in Kerrville, 1904

I like this series of shots for several reasons.  The girls in the photos are having fun, playing with their camera, posing while on vacation.  Several of the photos have the date 1904 on them; they're taken on the lawn of the St Charles Hotel, which was on the corner of Water and Sidney Baker (then Tchoupotoulas) Streets, ppposite from Pampell's.
Note the costumes, and the buildings you can see in the background.  Several of these images are in my book.  Thanks to Lanza Teague for letting me scan these.

The boy on the far right looks a lot like Chester "Cottonhead" Nimitz.
