Can you spot the rancher?

This image was in a folder of Starr Bryden photographs, loaned to me by friends down the street, and I have no reason to believe it's not by Bryden.  I like the framing of the image. It's also a good reminder what an important contribution goats made to Kerr County's developing economy, starting before the turn of the last century.  Can you see the rancher?

Goat herd, Kerr County, probably mid-1950s,
possibly taken by Starr Bryden.

  1. Years ago, goats were a very big part of ranching in Kerrville.

Does anyone know if goats still play a large role in Kerr County these days?

I'm referring to the revenue of yesteryear as compared to today.

    Thanks.
