This is fascinating. Amy and I were surprised at how elaborate some of the floats were. Here we are 60 years later (almost) and our floats aren't half as good.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the white/black bands really gave us pause. Not everything was better back then.
I'm amazed how fast everyone walked and drove back then. I thought things were slower then.
