A few days ago, I asked for help to identify the differences between these two photographs of the Schreiner store. Both of these photographs are in my new book. I asked for help because I thought if more of us looked at the images, we'd spot more differences together.
I think the top photo is older than the second -- mainly because of the little tree. Notice how it has a crooked arm? The second photo shows the same crooked arm, but on a larger tree.
Here are the differences I saw -- see if your list matches mine:
- Trees grew; center tree matches in both
- Awnings in older image
- Fireplug in newer image
- Name and ornamentation on newer
- Newer image says 1869-1889 older one is blank
- Utility pole in newer
- Porch in older
- Lightning rods on newer.
- trim on windows darker on newer.
- Hitching posts on newer
- People of course are different
- Grand Fair poster on older
- Older seems to be in winter; newer, Summer.
- Older taken in the afternoon; newer, around noon.

Please list the differences you find in the comments section below! I really appreciate your help.
