Japonica was an early name for Hunt, Texas. Here is a photo of the students of the Japonica School. I'd certainly like to hear a guess as to when this photo was taken in the comments below.

Joe, I have about a half dozen of the named children in my data base (Taylor, Davis, McDonald, Alexander) and they are born from 1898 to 1900. I guess the age of them to be about ten years old which makes the picture circa 1908-1910. Sorry I can't be more exact.
