The signs in the first photo most probably reference the directions to the town of Bandera (straight) and the town of Medina which would reached via a road to the troop's right (currently FM 2828)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9185899036941198756.post-8641897729435660852013-03-18T14:11:46.276-05:002013-03-18T14:11:46.276-05:00The two photos were taken at the foot of the pass ...The two photos were taken at the foot of the pass on the Bandera side, looking north. I'm not familiar with Bandera Pass, but I'd be looking for a left turn after a downhill grade very close into the pass. Maybe the lower pic was taken from the trail/road/ranch entrance breaking to left. Just a guess. Otherwise it seems kinda odd for the photographer to wander out in to a pasture to take a picture of the Pass. Good luck fellow history detectives!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9185899036941198756.post-59816041310487244112012-12-06T01:50:47.618-06:002012-12-06T01:50:47.618-06:00Joe,
