He was a god, a starting runner, kick off returner and punt returner for the Texas Longhorns in 1909 and 1910. My mother tells me that he was in hiding in Kerrville from several contracts out on his life for a significant role he played in the impeachment of Governor Jim Ferguson -- long story. Thanks, Joe herring for posting this. I'd love to chat with you some day.<br />John McNeel - San AntonioAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9185899036941198756.post-18220022798646540242012-12-03T08:54:51.368-06:002012-12-03T08:54:51.368-06:00Bart Moore was the general manager, and there were...Bart Moore was the general manager, and there were several investors, including Louis Schreiner and his nephews I believe, Junior and Scott Schreiner.Joe Herringhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05415079505193654859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9185899036941198756.post-1225567926631263702012-12-02T12:59:10.881-06:002012-12-02T12:59:10.881-06:00Joe, who owned the Kerrville Amusement Company?Joe, who owned the Kerrville Amusement Company?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
