A long-time friend brought by a copy of the May 1962 "Senior Slander," published by the Tivy High School journalism department.
It seems there was a tradition toward the end of the school year to publish the story of the senior class, plus a few whoppers. I've noticed more than a few stories in the little 4-page newspaper that are just a little "scandalous," and likely meant in fun.
I recognize a few of the names -- Joan Dell Weaver, Victoria Mosty, Joe Burkett, Bill Mosely, and Bob Schmerbeck. You'll probably recognize a lot more. Feel free to share this link on Facebook with your friends.
