The Cascade Pool in Kerrville

With the heat that's beating down on us today, I wish the old Cascade Pool was still in existence.  The pool was behind the Schreiner Bank building on Water Street, or about where the back lobby of the Bank of America branch is today, across from the old Schreiner Department store.
If you look closely, you can see how carefully this photo was shot; a young bathing beauty is caught mid-dive, her form, as a swan, frozen forever by the photographer.
