  1. So funny. My family was looking through old pictures this weekend and my father pulled out a newspaper clipping of me with the Mayor. I did an internet search on "Gordon Monroe" and found the same picture (see picture above "Mayor Gordon Monroe and some Cub Scouts, Kerrville, late 1960s"). I'm was one of the Cub Scouts (short one in front). I was 9 at the time, so that picture would have been 1967.

  2. I lived in Kerrville in the early 60s.Played basketball and baseball with George Stacey,Joe Faifer,Gary Whelan,Walter Goodloe.Any information on them would be interesting.

Played shortstop on the Sport Shop teamwith Walter Goodloe in center field.Played basketball with George Stacey and Gary Whelan.Moved to California in 1964.Loved Kerrville.My name is Cary Larson.My father was foreman at the Kerrville Daily Times.Lots of fond memories of the little Olympics,baseball,basketball and even bowling.
