So funny. My family was looking through old pictures this weekend and my father pulled out a newspaper clipping of me with the Mayor. I did an internet search on "Gordon Monroe" and found the same picture (see picture above "Mayor Gordon Monroe and some Cub Scouts, Kerrville, late 1960s"). I'm was one of the Cub Scouts (short one in front). I was 9 at the time, so that picture would have been 1967.
