Today a nice event was held in downtown Kerrville, the unveiling of a piece of public art designed by Kerrville's own James Avery. The project was sponsored by Kerrville Main Street, a program I had a hand in starting years ago.
This new sculpture is on the corner of Main and Earl Garrett streets, on the grounds of the Kerr Arts and Cultural Center. For you old-timers, like me, this was the old post office.
