I have no idea where Tivy High School is now located, but in 1969 it had taken over the old Peterson Junior High School buildings on Fredericksburg Road.
ReplyDeleteThe old high school on Tivy Street became the Tivy Junior High School.
I'm guessing, and it is purely a guess, that this photo has something to do with the remodeling that took place at Tivy High School.
There was a new science building constructed at the high school (on Fredericksburg Road).
This photo might be part of that complex.
This is the telephone equipment building in the 800 block of Water Street, across the alley from the Sunrise Antique Mall.
