Dan Auld is pictured in several of the photographs I received in the Gussie May Brown collection; there is one I assume is Mr. Auld as an infant, and then one later when he was courting one of the Gussie May. (He followed her out to California and they married there in 1920.)
The interesting thing, to me, is that the house Dan is standing in front of I believe is now restored and on display at the San Antonio Arboretum, the Auld House.
