Saturday Mystery Photo: Where was it taken?

Once again, for fun, I'm publishing a photograph taken by me recently in the city limits of Kerrville, Texas.  How well do you know Kerrville?  Can you tell me where this photograph was taken?

  1. I once lived in Kerrville for more decades than I care to admit (elderly age = vanity). :)

However, even with my many years of Kerr County residency, I had no idea this marker existed.

For some, it may be a marker, and nothing more, but to me it is Kerr County History at its finest.

I don't have a clue as to where it is located, but I will guess that it can be found at the airport.

  2. These mystery photos are a great joy to solve (or attempt to solve).

I look forward to them, and have so very much fun trying to determine a way in which the mystery can be revealed.

    Thank you, Joe.

  3. In the mid-1950's I remember seeing a bench mark like this atop Tivy Mountain at the graves. Would this be the same one?
